Tom Bowler

Tom studied Mathematics at the University of Exeter, followed by a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics Education and twelve years working as a Teacher of Mathematics. His specialities were delivering the Further Mathematics A-Level and teaching top set classes in the younger year groups.

Tom has been a UKMT volunteer for over a decade in many different roles starting as a problem writer, progressing to setting Olympiad papers, chairing the problems group for JMO and becoming the Cayley Olympiad lead. Tom enjoys nothing more than doing mathematics, sharing mathematics and teaching mathematics and is honoured to have the opportunity to act as a Trustee for UKMT.
