Scoring
Scoring rules for the Andrew Jobbings Senior Kangaroo are as follows:
- A total of 100 marks can be achieved in the Senior Kangaroo
- 5 marks are awarded for each correct answer
- In the Senior Kangaroo you will NOT lose marks for getting questions wrong
Awards and Thresholds
New for 2025!
The top scoring 10% of participants will receive a Gold Kangaroo Certificate, the next 20% a Silver Kangaroo Certificate and the next 30% a Bronze Kangaroo Certificate. Each participant below this receives a Certificate of Participation or a Certificate of Qualification depending on their entry route.
2025 Certificate Thresholds
Gold Kangaroo: 70+
Silver Kangaroo: 55+
Bronze Kangaroo: 40+
