Senior Team Maths Challenge: National Final

The STMC National Final

The STMC National Final said hello to a new venue and a new city for its return in 2026. For our first National Final in our new home city of Manchester, UKMT welcomed 50 teams from around the UK, and also visiting teams from China and South Korea.

The event saw teams creating incredible posters surrounding Voronoi Diagrams. Work as a team in the Group Round, put their brains to the test for the Crossnumber round, and come bump up their totals with the fast paced Shuttle round.

Awards were presented by guest speaker Simon Coyle to the winning Poster team, our top three visiting teams from ASEEDER, and our brilliant top three teams.

We are very proud to see the of the return of the Senior Team Maths Challenge National Final, and want to say a huge thank you to all the amazing teams who travelled to attend, and our hardworking Team Maths Challenge volunteers who made the event possible.
